Results of 8/25/20

Undefeated regular season champ Hidden Valley Community had a bye on the opening night of the 2020 CLS Tournament, but the remaining teams in the league were all in action.

#2 seed Richland Center Fellowship advanced by virtue of a 23-8 win over Park Street Christian. Ryan Langner and Ayden Fleeharty each had two hits for Park Street.

RC Fellowship will next face #3 seed Church of the Nazarene as they downed Grandview Family Worship 14-6. Jonathan Young had 4 hits and Tom Judson had 4 RBIs in the win. Adam Burns had 3 hits including 2 doubles, Mike Fowell led Grandview, going 5 for 5 with three extra base hits.

And, #5 seed The Mission moves forward to take on Hidden Valley after defeating St. Mary’s KCs 17-13. Jalen Alexander led the KCs, with a homer, 2 hits total and 3 RBIs. Scott Oman added 4 hits and Brooklyn Granger contributed 2.
