Results from 8/8/23—Tournament Continues

In the consolation bracket, Boscobel Assembly of God received a forfeit from The Mission.

Richland Baptist Temple got by Readstown Church of Christ 23-3. Andrew Kanable hit 2 inside the park home runs and Baptist Temple turned 3 double plays in the win. Dave Frank homered for Readstown.

Baptist Temple then defeated Boscobel Assembly of God 24-12. It was a close game until the 6th inning when Baptist Temple plated 11 runs to break the game open.

In the championship bracket, Hidden Valley Community topped Church of the Nazarene in a back and forth contest, 13-10. Hidden Valley used a 7 run fifth inning to take the lead for good. Quinn Tydrich, Todd and Christian Eernisse were all 3 for 3 to lead Hidden Valley. Adam Winsor and Nolan Thompson each had outstanding defensive plays in the 7th inning to seal the win.
