Results from 7/11/23—Week Eight

The Mission retained a share of the lead, topping Readstown Church of Christ 23-3. Sonny Johnson, still playing at 83, had an RBI for The Mission. Jeremiah Hassell had a web gem on defense for Readstown.

Hidden Valley Community still shares first place, as they downed Richland Baptist Temple 21-6. Andrew Thompson and Todd Eernisse both had 5 hits in the win. Nolan Thompson and Matt Hatfield each added 4 hits, with one had Hatfield’s being a homer. Connor Hying had a inside the park homer while Malachi Fretz added a double to lead Baptist Temple.

And, Church of the Nazarene outscored Boscobel Assembly of God 18-6. Grant Worthington was 4 for 4 and Bennie Green was 3 for 3 to pace the Nazarenes. Adam Burns added a homer. James Blake went 4 for 4 for Boscobel while Robert Hohn was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI.
